All rotating handpieces of NSK's IS series features the Clean Head System to prevent internal contamination and improve bearing life.
IS-95
NSK's triple spray water coolant system which is very compact in size still enables coolant spray to be delivered to the work surface at the correct angle. 1:5 increasing speed (0 - 120 000 rpm) with highest torque, three times the same as with turbine handpieces, is superior for bridge work drillings.

IS-55
The unique action of the IS-55 handpiece allows interproximal polishing which cannot be achieved by conventional rotary cutting instrumentation. Vertical recipocating action does not allow Clean Head System.
