NSK MARKS & ASEPSIS

For over a decade NSK have been producing autoclavable handpieces. The hightened demand for asepsis oriented products caused NSK to explore new dimension in handpiece design. A major result is NSK's Patented Clean Head System, a true advancement in handpiece asepsis and unique to NSK.

The Clean Head System virtually eliminates the internal contamination of all NSK handpieces and heads where applicable plus handpiece tubings and couplings. University studies have proven the effectiveness of Clean Head technology.

Additionally NSK have addressed the "convinience of use factor" for handpieces used in an aseptic enviroment.
Handpiece bodies are produced in metals which offer low adherence of debris. The knurling has been designed to accommodate gloved hands, and to be easily cleaned prior to autoclaving.

NSK's clinical handpieces are designed and produced to withstand the rigours of routine autoclaving. NSK's unique Clean Head technology, the anti-retraction water valve in each coupling, plus the autoclavable nature of each clinical handpiece places NSK at the leading edge in today`s infection control environment.

In 1993 NSK won the SITAD award in Europe for the development of the Clean Head System.
